Melissa & Jeff in Stone Harbor, NJ

Melissa & Jeff in Stone Harbor, NJ
After spending a week at the beach with their wedding party, Missy and Jeff wed at a historical church in Stone Harbor.
Photos By: Phil Kramer Photographers Inc
Location: Stone Harbor Golf Club
The two main doors of the church were strung with heart-shaped wreaths made of white roses, and a large church bell clanged as Miss and Jeff exited the church.
Melissa wore a gown by Christos.
The seven bridesmaids, dressed in silk shantung dresses in robin‘s egg blue with deep aqua sashes, looked stunning against the pale blue water.
For dessert: a three-tiered lemon pound cake covered in cream-cheese frosting and adorned with marzipan calla lilies and small polka dots (resembling beach pebbles and matching the wedding invitations). Later in the night, Missy and Jeff led all their guests outside to the veranda for the cake-cutting ceremony.
Once Missy and Jeff sliced into the cake, they kissed-signaling the start to a 15-minute fireworks display. "It was amazing!" says Missy. "Everyone was sitting on the veranda wall in awe. Jeff and I walked down onto the golf course to watch on our own. It really was magical." At the end of the night, Missy and Jeff were called out onto the dance floor to find -- much to their surprise -- that Jeff‘s sister and father had put together a personalized song to the tune of Neil Diamond‘s "Sweet Caroline." Remembers Missy, "All of the guests had a copy and were singing their hearts out."
Glass spice bottles decorated with starfish and seashells had been filled with homemade rosemary-infused sea salts and were passed around as favors. As a final farewell, friends and family tossed rose petals from baskets labeled "Love Is in the Air" as Missy and Jeff escaped.
Melissa and Jeff followed their traditional Presbyterian wedding with a reception at a lush golf club in Stone Harbor.

The Bride Missy Hauck, 28, middle school math specialist
The Groom Jeff Bryan, 28, IT consultant
The Date June 29

For their waterside wedding, Melissa (Missy) Hauck and Jeff Bryan chose to marry at the oldest church in Stone Harbor. And there was a special surprise: Jeff's high school friend performed a song he had written for the college sweethearts (Missy and Jeff met at Bucknell University).
